I am a civil marriage celebrant based in Hunter Hill in Sydney. I have been working as a celebrant for four years during which time I have married couples, performed baby naming ceremonies and officiated at funerals. These differing ceremonies require a varied approach and high level communication skills when working with the people at these significant times of their lives.
I only have one ceremony on a day so that I can give my full attention to you and your loved ones. And as importantly, I can take care of all the official requirements. For example, I look after all the wedding documentation required by law when you are getting married.
I love my work as a civil celebrant. It is such a pleasure to be welcomed into people’s lives and to help make that the special occasion what they want it to be. Everyone is individual with their own desires and goals and my greatest joy is delivering a ceremony that is right for them. Contributing to the seminal moments of peoples’ lives – whether wedding ceremonies, baby namings or funerals – is a privilege and an honour.
When I am not working as a celebrant, I can be found caring for my two granddaughters two days a week. This keeps me very young at heart and I love watching them grow. When I am not child minding or working on a ceremony, I am deep in study on my Masters of Arts Degree from Sydney University.
Life is full of joy and diversity. Being a civil celebrant and meeting such interesting people is a very important part of my life.
